We use the best talent for the job. Each task is done by someone who specializes in it. To have a staff with that much expertise would require a huge payroll and overhead for us and expensive price tags for you.
Without a huge team, we can afford to give you some of the most competitive prices on the market. We also can be upfront about our pricing because there is no hidden costs to running our business.
Hiring your own contract workers would be a huge undertaking. We manage all the tasks and moving pieces because we know exactly what is needed and we don’t charge for anything that doesn’t help you meet your business goals.

Simply put, we are going to act like you’re general contractor for all of your digital needs. We will hire out and manage all of the aspects of your marketing, design, and development that you want us to manage. This includes hiring freelancers, contractors, and partnered organizations to complete your tasks for you.
We are out to make education and opportunity more accessible. This is a charitable mission, but we are not a charity. We use a talent pool from all over to get you extremely competitive prices for high quality work. If you believe in what we are doing, then consider giving us a try for your business.

In the future, we want to be a lot more hands on with how we source our talent, and we want to build our own organizations and schools to do so. This way, we are training talent directly for the tasks we need and developing amazingly talented people in the process, and lifting economies across the globe.
The best way to explain this would be to use some close to real-life examples to illustrate how it works.
Example A: SEO Specialist
Employee is paid $20 an hour to perform a wide range of SEO related tasks. Now they are tasked with doing all the backlinking, writing blogs, technical SEO, etc. When they work they are inefficient and distracted, usually working from home. Now for every hour that employee worked on your business, the company has to charge you double because they have to cover all of their other overhead. So assuming they spend 25 hours working on your business and by the end of the month you pay $1,000 and receive one report, 1 blog post, 5 backlinks, 1 guest post, and some various technical SEO improvements.

We find talent that is specialized on one specific task, like blogging or link building. Then, we agree on a price per task with our talent. They are hyper-focused on this task and charge cheaper rates because they can crank them out faster and more efficiently. Our client success team then hires out all the tasks it needs to move the needle for your business. For example, it may cost $50 for a blog post, $20 a back link, $60 for a guest post, $80 for reporting, and $100 for technical SEO. Using our expertise in the market, we peace milll this all together and then charge you a fixed rate to manage all the complexities and make sure your budget is being used properly. So for the same $1000, you can see how you could easily get 5 blog posts ($250), 10 backlinks ($200), 2 guest posts ($120), the same technical SEO ($100) and reporting ($80) and still pay a $250 dollar overhead fee to us to hire all of these people from potentially different organizations and manage them all under one campaign.
Note: These are not actual numbers but we tried to make them as realistic as possible. Please, look up some of these services on fiverr or upwork and see that these numbers are fairly close to what you could expect to pay a good quality freelancer.
You absolutely could. In fact, we encourage it. Modern digital agencies are charging so much and the value in them is subjective, but only to a point. We would never take away from their business model and totally understand the value of it, but we think there are some really underserved cases where contracting out specific tasks would be more beneficial to your business. So even if you don’t use us, you will not regret trying the model we use by contracting out your work and paying for tasks instead of hours.
